There are several previous generations before who chose the way of Medicine. Starting with military doctors during the Independence War 250 years ago, to rural medicine later up to modern Hospital medicine. It was due to the need for specialized medicine that my grandfather, Recaredo Loscos Mulet became an Opthalmologist opening an Eye Clinic in Tortosa. Later, my father, Francisco Loscos Piñol, follow his way and moved to work in Barcelona. He worked at the Hospital Clinic i Provincial of Barcelona and at the Alianza Hospital. Together with other Ophthalmologists they founded the Nuestra Señora del Pilar Eye Center pioneer center in Barcelona.

Once I got my degree in Medicine I worked at the Hospital Clinic i Provincial at the Alianza Hospital and at the Hospital San Joan de Deu of Barcelona afterwards at the Opthlamology Department of the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol with Dr. Julio de la Camara where I am still working on medical assistence, investigation and trainig doctors and students at the Autonomus University of Barcelona (UAB). I obtained my Doctoral Thesis in 2012 with the qualification of Cum laude.
