Techniques and technology

The technological advances that have occurred in recent years have allowed us to diagnose and treat certain diseases in a highly satisfactory way for the patient allowing a quick visual recovery and with fewer postoperative discomforts. Medicine has used new technologies to develope better, more effective and efficient diagnosis methods.

Treatment and prevention of certain diseases allow us to resolve pathologies which were unreachable years ago. Scientific and technological evolution is always in progress and forces us to a continue training and a permanently updating equipment.

But there is no worthy technological progress if you lose the essence of medicine that is the doctor-patient relationship. Sometimes because the excessive role of technology in our profession we are at risk of "seeing without seeing" and our challenge is to offer comprehensive care where the patient is satisfied in both medical and human aspects.
